Daylesford Organic Nila Market Tablecloth Indigo
90,67 £
The eclectic vegetable motifs on this handwoven tablecloth are inspired by the bustling bazaars of India, dyed with natural indigo and sewn on using zero-waste appliqué.
Every item in this range is made by hand using traditional techniques, natural dyes and fabric sourced from different Indian regions. These artisan methods mean each piece is entirely unique and a celebration of India’s rich craft heritage.
Made by Nila in India for Daylesford.
Nila House in Jaipur is a cultural centre dedicated to preserving India’s natural dye and handloom textile traditions. Part of the Lady Bamford Foundation, Nila aims to share resources and knowledge, support sustainable design and celebrate craftsmanship.
The naturally dyed fabrics may fade slightly over time, with exposure to direct sunlight. Due to their handmade nature, artisan items are likely to vary and the fabric may carry subtle irregularities. No two will be exactly the same and we think this is a part of the beauty of handwoven textiles.
